What do you offer?
Decorated sugar cookies specific to an event/celebration, printed logo cookies, cookie platters (chocolate chip, double chocolate, monster, oatmeal raisin, etc), DIY sugar cookie kits, Paint-Your-Own sugar cookies, brownies, chocolate chip cookie cakes, rice cereal/marshmallow treats, personalized s’more kits, gramwiches (cookie sandwiches) and also cookie classes to name a few. Some additional items not listed may be offered at craft fairs and the local farmer’s market I attend.
How long will the cookies be fresh?
All cookies are made as close to the pick up date as possible. The decorated sugar cookies should be consumed within two weeks of pick up date or frozen for longer storage (if they last that long!). The drop cookies are best if consumed within three days of the pick up date.
What is your turnaround time?
It all depends on how many cookies are needed, level of detail, and what other orders I already have. Reach out and ask! I have been able to accommodate some orders in as little as 48 hours. But there is also no such thing as too much notice! I do book up, so please reach out as soon as you think you may want some desserts for an event/celebration.
Do you offer bulk order pricing?
No. Most custom orders take a significant amount of time and more cookies does not equal less time/work.
How should I store my cookies?
All of the cookies/desserts I offer can be stored in original packaging (unless otherwise directed at pick up) on the counter. No refrigeration is needed.
What dietary accommodations do you offer?
I can make some items gluten/dairy/egg/peanut free, but I do work with all of those common allergens (also including tree nuts and soy) in my kitchen. So there is always the possibility of cross-contamination. Please keep that in mind when ordering.
Can you print licensed/copyrighted images?
No. I can print business logos with written permission and professional photos with a print release.
What kind of personalization can I get on my cookies?
I can personalize with color choices, details (name, initials, dates), pictures (i.e.: ultrasound photos for baby shower sets) etc. I have rarely made the same set twice.
Where are you located?
I am a cottage baker in St. Charles County. I attend local farmer’s markets and craft fairs. See the events tab for the upcoming calendar.
Where do I pick up my order?
Generally, the customer and I will arrange a mutual pick up location. Delivery to a business or school will incur a fee. I do not deliver to home addresses.
Can I order and pay when I pick up?
When placing an order, a 50% non-refundable deposit is due within 24 hours of an invoice being sent to hold the date in my calendar. The remaining balance of the order is due one week prior to pick up date. Failure to pay the balance will result in forfeiture of the order.
What if I have to change the date or cancel my event?
Once full payment is received for an order, if the event date is changed or canceled, reach out to me as soon as possible. If the order has not been started, the order amount can be moved to a future date pending availability of my calendar. The amount credit is good for one year from the pick up date. If the order has already been started, the order will be finished and storage instructions will be given to the customer.
What if I want to change my design choice?
Once a deposit has been made, any changes that are made to an order may incur a fee (adding a design, adding details, metallic paint, etc). That difference will need to be paid in full at the time of the changes. Please make sure all design choices and details are known before I send a quote.
Can you copy pictures of examples I send for ideas?
I will use those that are sent to me for inspiration to make cookies unique to your event/celebration.
I have tax exempt status. How does that work?
If you have tax exempt status, the tax exempt certificate will need to be provided to Sugar Gram Cookie Co before the deposit is made. If that certificate is not provided, tax will be added to your order and will not be refunded.
Can I resell your items?
Per Missouri Law, no consumable item bought from Sugar Gram Cookie Co can be resold in any fashion. No item may be repackaged or relabeled to be sold.
How will the cookies be packaged?
All decorated sugar cookies will come individually wrapped and labeled with ingredients. If the customer does not want them individually wrapped for their use, they can remove the wrapping after pickup. Most items (with the exception of platters) will come individually wrapped. Platters will either have a lid or be wrapped in plastic wrap.
If I find a lower price from another cookie maker, will you price match?
No. You get what you pay for.
How long have you been making cookies? How much experience do you have?
I have loved baking for many years (at least 20), but started making decorated sugar cookies in the fall of 2014. I am mostly self-taught through watching videos and trial/error over the years. I have practiced A LOT. If I am unable to do a design, I will tell you!
Is there an order minimum?
The minimum order will depend on the item. For some of the dietary specific items there is a minimum order (for example, I can’t make and sell just one gluten-free muffin for an order). Please reach out and I would be happy to answer any questions you may have.
I really like my family’s recipe. Can you make it?
While I would love to do this for you, I am not able.
Can you make all the desserts for our event, including the cake?
I make cookies and other desserts, but do not offer cakes. I would be happy to recommend some great local cake bakers.
When ordering, what date do you need? The date of the event, or the date I want to pick up my order?
I need the date that the order will be picked up. It can be the same date as the actual event, but I recommend getting the order the day before to take one more task off the to-do list.
Can I pick up my order early?
Usually, the order pick up date/time can not be changed. If you need to change the date/time, reach out to me and I will let you know if that is an option. Some items cannot be packaged early or there is risk of damage to the items.
What if I don’t pick up my order?
If something comes up, please reach out to me. No communication and the order not being picked up will be treated as abandoned and the customer forfeits the order without refund or future credit.
I received a quote - does that mean my order is confirmed?
An order is considered confirmed and on my calendar when the 50% non-refundable deposit is paid. Deposits must be paid within 24 hours of invoices being sent or we reserve the right to refuse the order.
Do you share your recipes?
Yes, I do! If you take a cookie class offered by us, the sugar cookie and icing recipe will be shared. At this time, those are the only recipes that are shared.
Do you offer private cookie classes?
Yes! There is a minimum number of attendees required for a private class. Please reach out to confirm date/time availability.
Do you have online ordering?
No and I do not offer UberEats or DoorDash at this time.
How do I place an order?
Fill out an inquiry form with as many details about the event and what you are looking for, including inspiration photos if you have any, contact information and I will get back to you as soon as possible. Once details and the date is finalized, I will send an invoice over email.
